The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader's family were able to see him today in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS). The Leadership Newspapers confirmed the good news today in Abuja.
According to statements by Mazi Emma Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu is in very high spirits as he discussed cheerfully with his immediate family members. In a statement with correspondence he stated further;
“I met with my elder brother, Nnamdi today, Monday at the Department of State Services DSS headquarters, Abuja where he is detained currently.
“He is in high spirit and more determined now than ever in getting Biafra”.
Emma Kanu disclosed also the IPOB leader had been praying seriously for all Biafrans worldwide and used the chance to send his greetings and warm felicitations to them, adding “he was grateful for their firm support to him”.
“I want to confirm to you that he’s in high spirit and appreciates all the support from all Biafrans home and abroad”, Emma added, even as he asked the federal government to grant his brother access to his personal physicians.
Emma Kanu also asked the International Community to press Nigeria to release his older brother.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was nearly two month ago was allegedly taken away by force and have been in detention in Nigeria.
