SHOCKING: Akpabio Promises 'Good Movements' from 'My Waist,' Says Senator Natasha

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of making inappropriate remarks about her, including a comment that her waist would make "good movements." Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was suspended from the Senate on March 6 for "gross misconduct," claims her suspension was a ploy to silence her after she had submitted a sexual harassment petition against Akpabio a day earlier.

In a BBC interview, Akpoti-Uduaghan alleged that Akpabio frequently made suggestive comments, inappropriately squeezed her hands, and once remarked, "Oh Natasha, you are not wearing your ring... is this an invitation to treat?" Overcome with emotion, she broke down in tears, saying, "People don't understand what it means to carry this. I just want to work in peace."

However, Senate Deputy Chief Whip Onyekachi Nwaebonyi dismissed the allegations, insisting Akpabio never harassed Akpoti-Uduaghan.
