Mary Lin Elementary School in Atlanta Ga USA, is segregating children by race according to complaints filed by an Atlanta parent. In the complaints, Kila Posey claimed that the school's principal Sharyn Briscoe believed the practice was to the best interest of the students according to WSB-Tv.
“First, it was just disbelief that I was having this conversation in 2020 with a person that looks just like me—a Black woman,” Posey said. “It’s segregating classrooms. You cannot segregate classrooms. You can’t do it.”
Detailing the process, Possey stated that the school positioned Black students in two separate classes with two teachers. White kids got six classes with six different teachers she explained.
